Soon after, many large technology companies also launched chatbots similar to Google with Bard, Microsoft with Bing Chat, xAI with Grok, Baidu with Ernie Bot.
The emergence of generative AI helps erase the image of boring, inflexible artificial intelligence assistants that have existed for decades. From a complex technology, artificial intelligence has become an intuitive, accessible tool, opening up a series of application trends in life. In the report on prominent search trends in Vietnam 2023, Google assessed that AI has become a hot topic. “The competition of many leading technology companies to bring AI applications to end users has attracted great attention and led to the popularity of AI-related keywords on Google Search 2023”, reports the report stated. Among them, Vietnamese people are interested in “the benefits of AI”, “what is in the field of AI” or how to apply AI in specific fields.
AI creates work and entertainment
Since January, when OpenAI did not support registration in Vietnam, many people sought to create or buy accounts to experience ChatGPT . Taking advantage of AI’s ability to receive, process and express content in text form, users can write essays, poems, summarize reports, even compose literary works and write articles.

At schools, chatbots are used by both teachers and students as support tools in subjects that need to summarize large amounts of information. Meanwhile, with just a few keywords suggested to AI, organizational and business leaders can prepare speeches for employees with appropriate style.

However, security experts also recommend that users be cautious when providing personal photos to AI. In the context of deepfake attacks flourishing, bad guys can create fake images, fake news, and video calls pretending to be someone else. “Once data is exploited, the person who suffers is not only the person themselves, but also family, friends and people around,” warn experts of the Anti-Fraud project.
