More than 20 banks and network operators compete in cybersecurity

On November 16 in Hanoi, American security firm Fortinet organized the Security Fabric Range Challenge competition with the goal of helping Vietnamese cybersecurity experts have the opportunity to experience many simulated cyber attack situations. . Here, players participate in a simulation competition where they must handle a series of typical cybersecurity problems and situations that organizations often encounter. By effectively using security solutions, they are responsible for detecting and preventing potential threats in the system.

According to a Fortinet representative, network security incidents happen frequently, but the reality is that most organizations passively react and do not have a proactive defense strategy. From their experiences at the competition, participants will return to their organizations and businesses with new knowledge, thinking and security strategies. “This is a special opportunity for IT and security officers to test their skills and response capabilities in a controlled environment and with expert guidance,” Mr. Duc said.

After four hours of competition, three teams won the top prize of the competition: MCredit, NLDC (National Electricity Dispatch Center – EVN) and Vietcombank.
