The video Zuckerberg posted on Instagram on September 18 is called “Learn every skill every day” with the content: “Finally learned how to braid hair. Thank you Meta AI.”

In the approximately one-minute video, he asked glasses how he could braid his hair and the AI then guided him through the detailed steps. “To be fair, I’m not the most experienced person,” Zuckerberg said. The new generation of Ray-Ban glasses was introduced at the end of September at the Meta Connect 2023 event, the next version after the Ray-Ban Stories model launched in 2021. This is also the first model equipped with Meta AI virtual assistant, with Ability to record audio and video.

Glasses users can ask the AI to answer questions, send photos or live stream what they’re seeing to Facebook and Instagram. However, they do not have an on-eye display.
